That “untouchable” scammer seller is: verfiedservice1 This is the link to my evidence, which I opened in a dispute 20+ days ago. Even after Hulk mentioned him, he still has not replied. And he is still scamming hundreds of people on PlayerUp. https://www.playerup.com/threads/di...rified-seller-scammed-me-for-just-10.6729787/ Does a verified badge here not actually mean the seller is verified? I thought it meant the seller’s ID had been verified through your platform, so maybe they would not be a thief or dare to scam people. But today, after checking the disputes, I saw that there are multiple scam disputes opened against this same seller. You should ban this person. Here is the link to another report I came across. He does not even feel the need to reply to these reports, which shows how powerful he seems to be. https://www.playerup.com/threads/verfiedservice1-im-reporting-complete-scammer.6427099/
This no longer looks like an isolated case, but a systemic issue. “Verified” and “premium” badges don’t actually guarantee anything they can be bought and are used to create a false sense of trust. At the same time, fake feedback is generated through circular middleman transactions: money is moved back and forth, fees are paid, and the profile appears “legitimate”. In practice, this allows sellers to build “reputation” through low-risk microtransactions, while the actual profits are made outside the platform by scamming users for much larger amounts. The pattern is simple: these badges and fake reviews are used to build trust, then buyers are pushed off-platform with promises of faster deals. After that, conversations get deleted, leaving victims with little to no evidence. Many of them aren’t even registered users, they just see a “premium seller” and trust it. From personal experience: I opened a dispute against a verified scammer with solid proof, and it still took around six months for a ban to happen, while the seller kept operating the entire time. Given how often this happens, it looks less like individual scammers and more like organized scam groups systematically abusing the platform. The administration should take a closer look at this: review how badges are granted, how feedback is validated, and significantly improve dispute response times. Otherwise, this system will continue to be exploited and mislead new users.
Look at how arrogant and reckless he is. Even after you mentioned him, he didn't respond or show up. Just imagine how big of a robber he is outside. He doesn't care about you at all, whereas even big sellers with over 1,000 middleman deals show up within a minute when you mention them. @Hulk @Middleman
We need confirmed cases of outside issues. We haven't heard anything from anyone about them doing any wrong doings offsite. I will now close this thread and continue discussions in this thread - Exploiting - Stole Money - Disappointed with on the very first day.
