    Give Up Apple ID / Game Center Account / Keep Your Old Logins - Protect Your Personal Data

    • If as sellers you are reluctant to give up your GameCenter / Apple ID (I would be) but happy to give up the account here is how you can keep your old ID, and security questions and allow you to better protect your personal data and better prepare for transfer as well.
    • EXAMPLE : Your login for apple id and game center is [email protected]
    • Go to Google set up new gmail address [email protected]
    • Go to Apple ID Apple - My Apple ID
    • Change your id from [email protected] to [email protected]
    • Change all 3 password questions to something not about you (write them down),
    • Then [email protected] is now the new apple / gamecenter id and what you sell with your account
    • [email protected] is now NOT linked to any account (you killed it) and can be set right back up.. with your personal details

    When you say" you killed it" do you mean it is deleted and can be remade? Or are you saying that it still exists and you are still able to access it using your old password, however its not linked to the new Apple ID?

    Yes, but that shouldn't work on people who have Apple-related e-mails. For example, it won't let me change my apple ID from a @me account.

    Thanks for the views.. Hope someone finds it useful
    By killed i mean when you remove the login, [email protected] the login can then be used again so if login was
    [email protected] for your apple id you can keep it this way

    For you veterans you know this for those that may only do it once or twice it might be helpful

    Thanks @mrinternet, but as The Real Habana said, you cannot change the alternate email ending with @me.com or @icloud.com or any other apple-related E-mail.

    After selling your account with the newclan@gmail, and then switching your Apple ID back to [email protected] lock out the person who bought your account to play clash of clans?

    Or is it when after selling the account I do not change my id back to old, but rather create a whole new apple id?

    i just want to ask im newbie here.. if i sell my coc account with my gmail.. if someone purchase it.. does that mean my gmail account will no longer mine? what if my gmail account is my personal and legit account?

    I'll be selling my account shortly and have a question, that seems not so simple.
    I also play Boom Beach, which is also on the same game center account. I want to sell the COC account, but don't want them to have access on Boom Beach. What's the best way to go about this?

    • Like clash of clans if you have multiple accounts... you just set up a new apple id and associate one game with one account and the other seperately.
    • So you could have [email protected] and [email protected] for instance.. with each game associated with the appropriate apple id
    • I have a master AppleID (or 3) that is different to my game center AppleIDs, so they remain for itunes etc and completely unattached to any game center games.. keeps it cleaner.. in case you dump a game.. sell it etc..
